Frequently asked questions
Can I play dominoes in the app?
No — this is a scoreboard, not a game. You play with real tiles on a real table and the app keeps the score, handles the arithmetic and remembers the results.
Which dominoes game modes are supported?
Five: Block and Draw, All Fives, Mexican Train and Chicken Foot. Block and Draw race to a target score, All Fives pegs multiples of five during play, and Mexican Train and Chicken Foot use a countdown format where the lowest total wins.
What target scores can I play to?
100, 150, 200 or 250 points, chosen when you set up the game.
What's the difference between exact and round-to-five scoring?
Exact banks your opponents' pips as they lie. Round to 5 rounds each hand's score to the nearest five, which is how a lot of house rules count. You pick one per game.
How many players can play?
Up to 8, passing one device around the table. The free version covers two players; Pro opens the full table.
What happens when a hand is blocked?
You call it blocked and the app works out who takes the award based on the mode's rules, rather than everyone arguing about it over the tiles.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Any hand can be undone, so a miscount or a mis-tap doesn't cost you the game's record.
Which set sizes does Mexican Train support?
Double 6, double 9 and double 12, and the app counts the opening double down. Train statistics are kept separately per set size so the numbers stay comparable.
Does it keep a history and statistics?
Yes — full game history, a leaderboard with win rates, points per hand, biggest hand, blocked-hand rate, and 12-week trends showing whether your scoring is actually improving.
Is Domino Scoreboard free?
The free version gives you four Block games a month, two players, and your five most recent results. Domino Scoreboard Pro adds Draw, All Fives, Mexican Train and Chicken Foot, tables of up to 8, saved player profiles, the full Statistics tab and your complete game history.

No. Everything runs on your device — there's no account to create and nothing to sync.
